""Wrong. 'You're' not involved in this attack. 'THEY're' involved in this attack" I say as I order Oso De La Fez rip his fuckin head off" -Van
The session begins in the town of DuFall on the final day of the annual sculpture festival. Fife splits away from the party on other business, while the rest of the group goes to enjoy the festival, save for Huszonkét and Muriq , who instead search the scene of their previous battle, looking for the nuggets of Panguite that their now-dead doubles were hoarding. Muriq finds one unbeknownst to Huszonkét, but before they can find more, a rift tears open in the center of the city, and spreads incredibly quickly, almost instantly transforming DuFall into an otherworldly city. Laynfaer , Zzaebra , Van , and Fev encounter a group of soldiers from the otherworldly city that fall out of the sky. The squad, consisting of four Warforged soldiers and an unidentifiable captain in full armor attempt to arrest Van, intending to arrest all of the human beings they can find. Combat begins, and though the squad's tactics are strong, the party overcomes when they force down the commander and thwart his last ditch attack. An interrogation by Van and Laynfaer reveals that the captain is a Vryloka , just like Laynfaer, and that they purposely opened the rift in an attempt to find other Vryloka. The learn that the person running the attack is taking the lead from the tower in the center of the rift-tear, presumably guarding the rift's closing point, though they don't figure out why she's hunting Vryloka before Van orders Oso De La Fez to decaptate the commander with an ice cold one-liner. Setting out for the citidel in the middle of the city, they encounter the citidel's outer wall, and a humongeous door stands in their way. Fev and Zzaebra investigate the surrounding area, while Laynfaer disguises herself as one of the commanders by weraing their armor. Muriq and Laynfaer team up to destroy two of the door's 3 hinges, and Zzaebra works on eroding the third with acid. Before they can finish breaking the door down, however, a much larger force of enemies drop out of the sky...
